Open door day of sheep breeding farms

For the third year in a row, the Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders is organizing an Open Day on the first Saturday of October between 11 am and 5 pm. So we joined them too; small family farm Pr'Popr, Črni Vrh 1a.

In a 200 year old barn you will meet sheep, alpacas, friendly pig, rabbits, quails, ducks, always grumpy goose, chickens, lovely cats and of course your host family Košir.

In the barn you will be able to see a collection of old farm equipment and tools. You can try combing, spinning and felting wool, or make your own wooden bowl. And we will be happy to answer your questions about animals, farming methods and tourist accommodation.
