Polhek Cottage

A small cottage located in the hearth of Polhov Gradec Dolomites. Perfect for couples who want a break from the fast paced city life. The place is surrounded by nature and is great to relax in the peaceful surroundings. With many hiking trails to explore and interesting views after every corner, it is great for adventurists. And if you don't feel like going anywhere, you can just relax on the balcony and look for mountain goats on the other side of the valley.

Location

The Polhek cottage sits in the Polhov Gradec dolomites, surrounded by beautiful nature and breathtaking views. It is however a bit further away from our farm, so if the animals are the main attraction for you, consider our other options. It is a 15 minute drive from the Polhek cottage to the farm. But if you’d like to relax to the sounds of nature and water, this is the place for you.

Access

The cabin is reachable by car all year, but the last few hundred meters of the road aren’t paved - it’s a decent gravel road, but it can get a bit rough after a rainstorm. It’s never been a problem for us, but if your car sits very close to the ground, this might cause problems when driving up the last little bit.
In the winter, the roads usually get cleaned up pretty fast, but in the middle of a snow storm and for an hour or two after, the cabin might be inaccessible by car.
